Healthy Living and Environmental Care with Solid Pine
The South Island pine we use for kids' furniture is 100% sustainably sourced without causing harm to the environment. Solid pine furniture is safe for toddlers and non-toxic - it doesn't off-gas volatile organic compounds and doesn't harbour dust mites or allergens.

Just screw it
Align the pre-drilled holes on your furniture pieces, insert the screws, and tighten them. That's it! No need for complex tools or woodworking skills. This simple and efficient approach allows easy furniture assembly with consistent, secure results. Only powerdrill required
Overall I am happy with the purchase. The product is made with good materials, and was generally easy to self assemble. It looks great, and allows me to safely co-sleep with my 7 mo while he gets used to being in his new room. There aren't many options that are comparable on the market.
That being said, there are a few minor changes that could made to the design that would increase my rating.
-Most importantly, the bedframe base is as high as the top of the mattress and my baby has hit his head on the corner edge at least once while rolling over. This is a hazard that I am currently brainstorming to make safe for us now, but as a design, I would want to see the mattress even a little bit higher than the base edging so there is no visible edge to hit against.
- the frame creaks loudly while leaning to put LO down and has woken LO up intermittently. I understand that its likely not designed to be leaned upon, but without a gate or opening, it's the only way to get a sleeping baby in or out of the cot.
- the frame needs a gate. as a co sleeping mum who needs to hop in and out of bed, grab items from outside the cot, and sometimes lift a sleeping LO out of the bed with me, I would loooove a gate so I wouldn't have to stand up to grab items outside of the cot, or worry about trying to climb out of the cot with a baby in my arms, or wake the baby by having to put him down, climb out and then lean on a creaky side to pick him up again and risk waking him.
On a personal purchase note: One side of my frame is also slightly too short and leaves a gap in the frame.
Finally, there was a delay in shipping compared with estimated times mentioned on the site. I would have loved an update on what was going on and when I could expect my item, without having to reach out to follow up.
TL;DR I am happy with the product overall, love that the company is local, and offer a cosleeping friendly floor cot when there are not many on the market, but there are areas for improvement in design, build and service.

My daughter loves her new bed and we can sleep with the fact the rails are high and she can't get out
My daughter figured out the lock in 2mins. Great quality but the door lock needs rethinking.
